Lo anuncian marcadores como yesterday, last weekend, two days ago o in 2020, y tiene la misma forma para todas las personas: I played, she played, they played.
| Verbo | Pasado | Significado |
|---|---|---|
| go | went | ir |
| have | had | tener |
| take | took | tomar, llevar |
| buy | bought | comprar |
| leave | left | salir, dejar |
| win | won | ganar |
| eat | ate | comer |
| see | saw | ver |
| make |
El verbo be no usa did: tiene sus propias formas, was / were y wasn’t / weren’t (We weren’t at home).
We danced all night.
“Last Sunday my brother and I (1) ________ (take / took / taking) the bus to the zoo in Cali. We (2) ________ (buy / bought / buyed) the tickets online, so we didn’t (3) ________ (wait / waited / waiting) in line.”
Taking no funciona solo: necesitaría un auxiliar (we were taking).
(1) took, (2) bought, (3) wait: “Last Sunday my brother and I took the bus to the zoo in Cali. We bought the tickets online, so we didn’t wait in line.”
Ejercicio 1
Complete the message: “Hi Camila! Yesterday I ________ my phone on the bus, so I couldn’t answer your messages. Sorry!”
Ejercicio 2
Choose the best reply. “Did you watch the game last night?”
Marcar el pasado dos veces: decir I didn’t went o Did you saw the game?
Con did o didn’t, el verbo va en forma base: I didn’t go, Did you see the game?
Agregarles -ed a los verbos irregulares: buyed, goed, taked.
Repasa los irregulares en voz alta y con ejemplos: I bought a gift, we went to Tunja, she took the bus.
Poner was o were antes de la forma base de otro verbo: We were win the game, I was go to school.
Was y were van con adjetivos, lugares o verbos en -ing (I was tired, we were at home).
Con did y didn’t el verbo vuelve a la forma base: Did you go? I didn’t go.
Be tiene su propio pasado, was / were, y no usa did.
